High-density stone-wool fire-stopping slab factory-coated on both faces with a water-based ablative sealant. Designed to reinstate fire resistance and acoustic integrity of walls and floors where services penetrate compartment lines.
The combination of non-combustible mineral wool core and ablative coating provides up to four hours’ fire resistance when installed as part of a tested system. The coating prevents the passage of smoke and flames, while the slab maintains insulation and dimensional stability under fire exposure.
Lightweight yet rigid, the batt can be easily cut to shape for complex service penetrations, offering a clean, durable finish once installed. The 60mm thickness offers enhanced fire protection and sound reduction.
