Description
Rockwool High Expansion Intumescent Sealant supplied in 310ml cartridges. Water-based acrylic emulsion sealant containing graphite, designed to reinstate fire resistance and insulation performance in compartment walls and floors where they are penetrated by building services.
The sealant expands under heat to seal voids left by combustible materials, preventing the passage of flames, smoke, and hot gases during fire conditions.
Formulated for use with both combustible and non-combustible services, the sealant provides a reliable, high-expansion barrier for pipes, cables, and insulated metalwork. It reacts at approximately 135°C, rapidly increasing in volume to close openings and restore fire integrity.
Supplied in easy-to-apply 310ml cartridges, it is suitable for both horizontal and vertical applications, ensuring consistent performance across tested wall and floor constructions.
