Siniat GTEC Weather Defence External Sheathing Board 12.5mm is a strong, highly moisture resistant and non combustible external sheathing board which allows construction timetables to be drastically reduced.
Its is faced with water repellent material for superior weather protection.
Thermal insulation can be installed within the frame, mechanically and/or adhesively fixed to the board. This board is BBA approved for use as an exterior and wall facade panel system in timber-frame and steel-frame buildings.
The gypsum core technology ensures excellent fire performance and high sound insulation both inside-to-outside and outside-to-inside to deliver safe and comfortable buildings in compliance with the latest building regulations.
GTEC Weather Defence is compatible with numerous cladding systems.
It is an ideal substrate for insulation and in rainscreen or masonry cladding where it serves as a weathertight barrier. With a weathertight building, the internal work can begin earlier and in parallel with external works.
